Enjoy a life drawing open studio with a live, clothed model doing a series of quick poses. This workshop is geared towards teens, with music and a great model. No photography allowed. No instruction. Bring your own art supplies (no oils); easels/chairs provided.

Thinking about pursuing an education in arts? This class is tailored to individual needs as we look at current requirements for college/university art programs, and work with other motivated students to develop application portfolios. In addition, students will work on drawing from life, use of materials, photos for portfolio, and building personal content. Basic technical concepts will be reviewed, as well as discussing what to expect in a college level art environment.
Family Table Ceramics Workshop: Parents & Teens GR 6-12 – TWW23501

Make a beautiful and functional work of art for your family table! In this 1-day workshop, parents and teens will work together to make an 8-inch plate or bowl using bisque molds. Students will texture the surface or decorate with slip to make a personalized piece that can be used for years to come. Finished pieces will be glazed opaque white and will be ready for pickup in 2 – 3 weeks.
Mixed Media Mosaics with Colored Grout Workshop for Parents and Teens (GR 9-12) – TWW23804

A creative exploration for parents and teens together! Mixed media mosaics are all about creative freedom. Explore the possibilities of combining ceramic tile, vitreous glass, broken china, glass beads, stained glass and mirror to create your own original mosaic. On Days One and you’ll first transfer your design, then build and finally cement down materials with Acrylic cement. On Day Three you’ll mix and apply vibrant-colored grout to finalize your piece with a range of grout colors. Students will bring a 18” square colored mosaic design drawing to class to trace onto the substrate. Workshop goals include freedom of expression combined with technical mastery. Students will leave with a beautiful mosaic and also the hands-on knowledge to create mosaic murals. One ticket per student, please
