BASCP in the Cloud Remote Programming

The Bowen After School Care Program is running remote programming for families in the Newton community, welcoming all K-5 children.

For a low monthly rate, your child will have access to numerous engaging opportunities throughout the week.  In November, the K-1 Program students will head under the sea, explore multiple modes of transportation, investigate Fall in New England, and end the month with a week of being silly!  Daily activities have been carefully planned to allow for learning, socializing, hands-on creating, and movement.

The 2-5 Program students begin their daywith a 3:00 pm meeting in which they have an opportunity to share with their peers about their school day,  extracurricular activities, and discuss the Topic of the Day (Big Foot, fossils, sharks, etc.).  At 3:30 pm the magic begins, the first of two classes of the day.  Students have the opportunity to participate in up to 10 enrichment classes per week.  These class include 3D Printing, Wicked Cool After School Snacks, Harry Potter Art Class, Mini Sew, and more.  Materials are provided in the activity supply kits that are delivered to your home.  At 5:30 pm students can take part in Game On!, the most popular part of the day, where students participate in an interactive game that tests their knowledge, teamwork, and critical thinking while having a great time with their peers.

Possibly the best part of all is that supply kits are delivered to your door (if you are in Newton) so that your child can have a successful experience. November’s brochure can be found here
